Blu is Here
Hello, thanks for stopping by! If you've gotten the chance to check out Blu, thank you for playing my game! It honestly took a lot longer than it should have to get here, but it all worked out in the end. I've been learning gamedev on and off for a good 2 years now, and I'm now fully dedicating my free time to it. Blu was a project I made while picking up Ren'Py and Python. While it was a pretty easy project, it took longer than expected due to having to put it down for months and restarting due to file corruption. But here we are at the 1.0 Launch, and I couldn't be more proud!
I've now fully put my effort into learning Unreal with C++ and Blueprints , and Unity with C#. So expect to see a much larger project in the future, most likely to be a horror game in Unreal Engine.
So what's next? Is anything else coming to Blu? Well, probably not, this was really just a project to pick up some Python skills and try to make a good story for people to enjoy! I do have some scenes I would like to add leading up to ending 2, but that's on hold currently while I work on other projects. I'm sure the game doesn't look like much, but I am passionate in what I do and I hope you all enjoyed the game as much as I did. It was truly a joy to work on and learn the Python coding that I did. All of those scenes are my first time ever drawing something, as you can probably tell.
I am a full time Game Design student in University and Game Developer in my free time. I am always challenging myself with ambitious projects and excited to learn new tricks with this kind of work. I thank you all if you've made it this far, and happy Thanksgiving!
I would also like to state that any donations are deeply appreciated and will be put towards my next project and sustaining myself. Thank you for sharing this time with me, and have a lovely night.
